If you don't like Tooltips (the yellow help text which pops up if you move the mouse over an edit field or a pulldown list) or if you want to display them longer, just do the following:
Disable Tooltips:
In the "Options" tab, check the option "disable popup hints" and click "Save INF-Tool's configuration".
Configure display length of Tooltips:
In the configuration file INFTool.ini, modify the following settings:
HintHidePause=2500 milliseconds until Tooltip disappears
HintPauseTime=2000 milliseconds until Tooltip shows up
